Position Overview:

The Events Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and managing event bookings across PERSONE NYC’s restaurants, catering services, and hotel venues. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality, a deep understanding of NYC's event scene, and proven success in closing high-value sales. This individual will work with various internal teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution, while also building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy & Development: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to maximize event bookings for PERSONE NYC’s restaurants, catering services, and hotel venues.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individual customers, delivering top-tier service throughout the event planning process.

- Event Planning & Execution: Collaborate with internal teams (culinary, operations, marketing) to ensure client needs are met and that events are executed flawlessly.

- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation efforts.

- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate event contracts, ensuring both client satisfaction and company profitability, while maintaining high standards of service.

- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and packages for various event offerings. Partner with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution.

- Revenue Management: Meet and exceed sales targets by optimizing event space utilization, increasing booking frequency, and driving revenue across multiple concepts.

- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.

- Post-Event Follow-up & Reporting: Ensure post-event follow-ups with clients, gather feedback, and prepare reports on event outcomes and overall satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event sales, preferably in the hospitality industry (restaurants, catering, or hotels).

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing event revenue.

- Strong understanding of NYC’s hospitality and events market.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients.

- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.

- Proficiency in CRM and event management software.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
