Catering Receptionist – Longo’s Park Deli (Port Chester, NY)
Longo’s Park Deli is looking for a reliable and friendly Catering Receptionist to join our team in Port Chester, NY. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Pay:
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Pay: $25 per hour
Responsibilities:
Answer phones and speak with customers about catering orders
Enter catering orders using Microsoft Access
Respond to emails and manage customer communication via Outlook
Enter and update basic information in Excel spreadsheets
Work closely with the kitchen and deli counter teams to ensure smooth operations
Maintain a friendly and calm attitude, even during busy or stressful moments
Requirements:
Strong customer service skills and clear communication
Must speak English; Spanish is a plus
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Basic computer skills (Excel, Access, Outlook)
Responsible, dependable, and able to follow through on tasks without constant supervision
Ability to learn quickly and remember product/menu details
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Positive, upbeat demeanor – we’re looking for someone who stays calm under pressure and brings good energy to the team
Experience in a similar role is preferred
