Boutique Hotel in Long Island City is hiring for various positions for FULL and PART TIME positions. Open positions are 7am - 3pm and 3pm-11pm and 11pm - 7am.

Must be available for work on evenings, weekends and holidays.
HOUSEKEEPING/ROOM ATTENDANTS:
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Responsible for constant cleanliness by providing housekeeping throughout the hotel and ensuring a clean environment for guests. Ensuring all of our rooms are cleaned and sanitized to brand standards. Communicating maintenance items to our maintenance department. Assisting management with assigned duties. Assist with the upkeep of supplies, deliver linen, paper products and unit amenities, strip and make bed(s), assist with cleaning as needed. Remove trash from units and floors. Coordinate and create linen and amenities bags. Receive, sort, fold, and collect soiled linen. Organize, clean, and maintain stock levels of department storage areas according to company’s cleanliness and safety standards. Ensuring our public areas are cleaned and sanitized at all times. Maintain positive customer and associate relationships. Respond appropriately to guest and associate inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction. Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
FRONT DESK AGENTS AND NIGHT AUDITORS:
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Guest Service Agents greet guests at the front desk and ensure they are efficiently checked in or out. Agents also manage payments and interact with guests to ensure all of their needs are met while staying at the hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You are the face of the hotel (first person guests see when they come in), always smile and answer all questions
Must be assertive, self motivated, goal oriented, organized and efficient
Follow all social distancing rules
Able to handle multiple projects concurrently
Be friendly, efficient, respectful, hospitable and competent
Check-in guests in a timely manner
Activate keys for room check-in
Answer emails quick and professionally
Booking cars, reservations, concierge duties
Greet guests with a smile and answer their questions as required
Count and verify cash, shift activity, keys, gift certificates, and wireless internet cards with departing shift
Complete shift audits as required
Print updated in-house, arrival, departure, and room status reports every two hours pending activity
Check telephone interfaces throughout shift
Check all unresolved departures
Review service requests for arrivals
Ensure front desk is stocked with any items guests may require before housekeeping leaves for the day
Write all wake-up call requests on specified form and enter in system
Complete in-house bucket check
Complete welcome calls
Clean and tidy front desk area
Maintaining and ensuring communication between engineering and housekeeping staff
Provide an extra hand with housekeeping and other duties when needed
Knowledge and Training in Hotelogix systems, Excel, Word and Outlook
Multilingual candidate preferred
HOUSEPERSON/LAUNDRY:
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Clean all public guest areas including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, wiping, vacuuming, washing and drying
Clean windows and doors, stainless steel and glass
Clean, disinfect and tidy public bathrooms
Maintain a clean and neat area at all times
Take out all trash
Wash, dry and fold Linen and Terry
Distribute linens
Provide laundry support when required
Assist Room Attendants as needed
Clean guest rooms when needed
Support all department managers
Stock areas for next day
Multilingual candidate preferred
Offer assistance to guests in a courteous manner
MUST have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekdays, holidays and weekends.
We are looking for motivated individuals who excel in the hospitality industry and are seeking a company to grow with.
