Mercer Street Hospitality is looking for experienced FOH candidates.
We are seeking talented Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our team!
Ideal candidates will have
At least Two years of experience working as a line cook/saute in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Experience in all meal periods.
A passion for food and a strong work ethic
Possess DOH certification - Plus.
Team player who respects the facility, its equipment, and fellow staff members
Duties Line Cook/Prep Cook:
Work the line for service
Keep a clean and organized workstation
Make sure the station is properly stocked for the shift
Maintain all necessary parts
Follow prep sheets, fire sheets, and station sheets
Prep and execution of food items as needed to meet the restaurant's orders.
Abide by and uphold company policies, standards, and state sanitation/health regulations.
Ensure and maintain safe and secure working conditions/environment and
ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen facilities and equipment.
