Ask for Janice, a new bar tucked away behind Upside Pizza in Greenpoint at 640 Manhattan Ave, takes the familiar hallmarks of the New York slice shop and flips them upside down: fluorescent lighting dims down to a glow, slices are swapped for small plates, and the clamor of the store gives way to the stirring and shaking of cocktails, the clinking of glassware, and the pulse of music. Ask for Janice celebrates a palette of quintessentially New York City influences: Italian-American culinary nods meet 90’s Hip-Hop and the NYC cocktail revival.
We are currently looking to fill a hand-full of shifts throughout the week that could potentially be a full time schedule.
Our sister bar, Eavesdrop, is also looking to hire bartenders & servers for our Garden which is planned to open the first week of May. Potential crossover may be available should that be of interest.
