Judy's in Sunset Park is looking for a bartender to work Saturday evenings. Covers for other shifts are always available as they come up and more nights will become available over time.
Previous bartending experience required, but we are beer and wine only so no need to have mixed drinks. That being said, experience behind the bar is a must.
Craft beer / natural wine enthusiasts will love it here. We're a very small operation with a tight staff and an owner operator who's hands-on, but trusts his people to run all aspects of the bar on their shift. Fun job with an A+ clientele of mostly regulars and neighborhood folks. Rotating Craft Beer & Wine, but we're very much a neighborhood bar so please no snobs. Looking for someone independent and self-sufficient. Our bartenders have complete control over the space, frequently work the bar solo, and wear many hats. Need to be able to clear the drink queue efficiently, but then settle down and talk with your regulars. A people person, a go-getter, a team player, someone who loves hospitality.

Job can be a little physical as you do your own re-stocking up and down the stairs at the end of the night.
Barista experience is a nice bonus as we are a coffee shop during the day. Spanish language skills a big plus. South Brooklyn based. Sunset Park, Bay Ridge, Slope based bartenders preferred.
