About Us:

The JACX is setting the new standard for creative office development, creating a home to thousands of innovators, creators, leaders, and entrepreneurs.

We are seeking skilled, passionate part-time Bartenders who take great pride in delivering unparalleled experiences and who value teamwork, integrity, and professional development in The JACX Food Hall.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete drink orders for guests.

Set up rails, tools, garnishes, juices, and syrups for service.

Fill all ice bins (regular and crushed ice) and scotch rocks.

Ring in all orders on the check before making the drinks.

Each tab is starting with a credit card swipe and the card is returned to the guest.

Close all checks.

Maintain a clean and orderly bar. Perform daily cleaning schedule.

Wipe down all bottles and pours.

Wipe down and completely dry all rails and speed rails.

Marry all partial bottles.

Wash and store all bar tools.

Clean bar top

Verify display bottles are correctly positioned.

Verify backups for all garnishes, juices, and syrups

Confirm all dates on perishables.

Verify any stored fruits/juices are not out of date for service.

Must be able to speak and understand the primary language used in the workplace, as well as excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing.

Must adhere to all company specific safety policies.

Must work cooperatively with other team members.

Other things to consider: -

A significant portion of the workday requires walking and standing for extended periods.

Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.

Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch.

Must comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies.

Flexible availability and willingness to work additional hours/shifts

About You:

Prior experience bartending in a dining environment.

Must have an outgoing personality and a positive attitude.

Understanding of Cash handling procedures

Available on weekends, preferably Thursday - Sunday and must be flexible for day and evening shifts

The base compensation for this role is $16.00/hour. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.

This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyer’s New York team , as we’ve considered factors specific to this geography.
