We're looking for a bartender for our cozy neighborhood bar in Kips Bay, ideally someone for three shifts per week. We're not an advanced cocktail bar or anything, but you'll need to be quick with your tools and have general cocktail knowledge. Our small cocktail menu will be easy for anyone with experience.
Generally we have one bartender on at a time, with some overlap for busier happy hours and party bookings. There's a barback for a few shifts per week. So this is a gig for someone who loves being the only person behind the bar, nurturing regulars. You know the crowd around here, a mix of young professionals and longtime area residents. Bartenders do well here, building clientele for their shifts. Remembering names, setting the right atmosphere for a fun night. Trivia night, dart nights, special events, sports on at the bar. We also have a kitchen, great food, which you'll be running from the kitchen. We're open until 2am weeknights, 4am Fri + Sat.
Looking for people who leave the bar clean, be consistent on cocktail specs, and again, really take care of our regulars. Would love for you to already know the neighborhood well.
We've lost a longtime bartender who's off to grad school. Looking for someone ready to make some money, be here for a while!
