We're looking for an enthusiastic Counter/Barista to join our coffee bar team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare high-quality espresso drinks and beverages, with expertise in proper shot extraction techniques and milk foaming; latte art skills a plus
Maintain a clean and organized coffee bar
Set up and maintain beautiful product displays that showcase our offerings in the best light
Take initiative in arranging and presenting products to maximize visual appeal
Provide exceptional customer service
Assist with inventory management for the coffee station
Engage with customers to provide a welcoming atmosphere
Collaborate with the bakery team to promote seasonal offerings
Qualifications:
Previous barista experience preferred
NYC Food handlers permit
Minimum of 3 years experience working in restaurants or food establishments required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must be reliable and punctual – we depend on your commitment to scheduled shifts
Passion for coffee, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
Ability to thrive in our fast-paced, hectic environment while maintaining organization, professionalism, and a sense of urgency
Must balance efficiency with a positive attitude during busy periods
Interest in growing within the company and potentially taking on leadership responsibilities

Growth Potential: For candidates demonstrating exceptional skills and dedication, there is opportunity to advance to a Front of House Lead position, which would include training and mentoring team members, overseeing both the coffee bar and customer service areas, and taking on additional management responsibilities.
