Bar Bruno is hiring servers for our Carroll Gardens location!
Bar Bruno is a neighborhood bistro serving Mexican-inspired fare from our two busy locations in Carroll Gardens and Greenpoint. We have a large menu, outdoor seating, awesome regulars, and the best margaritas in town (our plantains and birria pizza are pretty special too).
We are seeking to hire a friendly, outgoing, efficient server who can amplify our welcoming vibe, memorize the above-mentioned large menu, and keep up with the fast pace of business while making it look easy.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience serving at busy restaurants and who has a food handler’s card (or the ability to get it within 60 days of hire). Weekends are pretty all-hands-on-deck for us.
Starting pay is $15 an hour, plus tips (and a delicious shift meal of course).
We are open for lunch (those shifts are about 11-4), but most shifts are dinner service, roughly a 4 pm call time for shifts that end around 10:30-12:30. We are looking for someone to work about 4-5 shifts a week. There is room for growth if that’s your thing.
