The Carreau Club is a fast growing bar and recreation space featuring the exciting game of pétanque! What is pétanque? Well, it's sort of like bocce but it's from France and a bit more exciting. Home to a dozen indoor and outdoor courts, a full bar, and food counter, we host small and large groups for a variety of occasions from date night to birthdays and work events. We have over 200 league members who duke it out for the club championship on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Think bowling alley vibe with a more contemporary feel.
We are currently seeking a friendly, responsible, and organized hospitality professional to help to build an awesome experience for our guests as our business continues to grow. Fun is literally our business! Would you like to be in the fun business?
All of our servers are cross-trained as pétanque guides and bartenders with a mix of shifts for all employees. Bartenders provide traditional service for a ten seat bar and prepare drinks for the entire space. Pétanque guides operate on the floor, teaching our guests how to play pétanque and providing food and beverage service throughout the experience.
This position requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced service environment and engage directly with guests and large groups. Hospitality experience and weekend, evening availability are a must. Beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge a plus. Friendly demeanor, fun personality, love of games required! Experience on the floor and winning personality are key. Willing to train the right person behind the bar!
