Job Type: Hourly ($22/hr)

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry and possess basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing. Physical capabilities are required, such as the ability to move freely and lift up to 50lbs. A completed DOHMH food protection course is necessary, or candidates should be willing to obtain certification before starting.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and train bar staff, ensuring high standards of service and expertise.

- Oversee bar operations, including inventory management and finance tracking.

- Manage operational processes associated with catering, service, and shift management.

Minimum Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.

- Basic computer skills for managing inventory and processing orders.

- Must have previously completed the DOHMH food protection course or be willing to obtain it before starting employment.

- Availability to work weekends and evenings.

- Ability to stand for 6-7 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong organizational and leadership skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and high-stress situations effectively.

- Knowledge of the non-alcoholic beverage market and customer service best practices.

- Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus.
