Description We are offering an opportunity for a highly organized individual in the role of an Office Manager in New York. This role is situated in the fashion and luxury goods industry and involves managing various aspects of the workplace, including facilities management, vendor coordination, and workplace experience. This role is a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing workplace maintenance activities. Maintaining accurate records and managing administrative tasks such as budgeting, proposal negotiations, vendor onboarding, and invoice processing. Partnering with security teams on building access for employees and security-related repairs and maintenance. Ensuring Health, Safety, and Environment compliance throughout the property. Coordinating contractors and projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Maintaining relationships with building management and key vendor partners. Managing scheduling for office training center and event space, assisting employees in planning and hosting events. Collaborating on event planning, including communication, logistics, and budget management. Developing and executing new ways of working initiatives. Requirements Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts Ability to handle scheduling and calendar management for multiple team members Experience conducting walkthroughs and managing work orders Excellent written communication skills for email correspondence Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proven track record of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle office matters with utmost professionalism and discretion.
