"Our client, a high end New York City based beauty/ fragrance company, is currently looking for a Freelance Visual Merchandising Designer to join their team for project based and overflow support as needed.Please note this is a remote opportunity, and project based as needed. Hours will vary based on project, and please note the client will always ask for an hours estimate before starting a project!Responsibilities:- Join the VM team and partner with the Creative Department to create concepts and 3D design renders in 3D Studio Max / VRAY for merchandising displays and environments- Will work in a project based / ad hoc capacity as work comes in- Will create merchandising guidelines for a fragrance/beauty client as needed- Will design assets as needed, such as: small tester units, large counter glorifiers, backwall, gondola, large outpost, medium outpost, small outpost etc Requirements:- 5+ years of Visual Merchandising Design experience with beauty and/or luxury brand experience- Experience being both conceptual and executional, as well as working cross functionally with the creative and marketing teams- Proficeny in 3D Studio Max and VRAY, with fluenency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically PhotoShop, InDesign & Illustrator)- Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills, ideally with knowledge of retail environments and trends (Free Standing, Department and Specialty Stores)- Ability to work in both a highly collaborative team environment and independentlyCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
