Through its complementary business activities, Veolia Water helps to develop access to resources, preserve available resources, and replenish them.In 2023, the Veolia Water group provided 111 million inhabitants with drinking water and 97 million with sanitation, produced 44 terawatt hours and recovered 61 million tonnes of waste.Joining the Innovation team supporting the growth of Veolia North America in its activities of waste, water, and energy management.Innovation plays an important role in strategic projects, culture transformation, and ecosystem network.The innovation team belongs to the Development, Strategy and Innovation department that has various profiles and backgrounds.Job DescriptionAs a part of the innovation workforce, the VIE will work every day with the Director of Innovation and support the launching and management of Innovation programs.Main missions:

Coordinate the internal innovation accelerator (company wide)

Support in prototyping and incubation of internal projects / teams (field projects)

Grow the partnerships and ecosystem (ex.: startups, universities, accelerators)

Coordinate major strategic programs (depollution, regeneration, decarbonization)

Create and coordinate internal and external communication materials

Project Management: task follow up with transversal teams and departments

Maintain and report project schedules, tasks status, budgets, invoicing, etc.

Standardize procedures and methods (ex.: prototyping, incubation)

Support in the testing of systems and solutions when required

Prepare various internal and external meetings, documentation

Qualifications

Educational background: Master in Engineering (chemical, process, mechanical, generalist)

Professional experience: At least a year in related field.

Languages: Fluent in English

Other: Work place will be Manhattan office and Paramus office (2 days NYC and/or Paramus and 2 day home office). Travel may be required for some external meetings.
