"UX Researcher/UX Designer" for a 12+ Months contract position with direct client in NY Job Poster: Divya Lakshmi UX Researcher/UX Designer with Digital Product/Mobile apps Experience Description- We’re looking for a UX Researcher to join this team and play a major role in creating a cohesive and customer-centric look and feel for our products along with building and improving tools for our agency partners.
- As a UX Designer at the client you will be working on our digital products that include Client.info, our mobile apps, and our over 50,000 digital screens rolling out in stations, subways, trains, and buses across our network. You are an advocate for accessibility and equally excited to rebuild and rethink one of the oldest and popular Design Systems known.
ResponsibilitiesWork with the Product Managers and Designers conduct UX Research.Create and enact generative research plans to help us understand the needs and potential feature sets of new Client products across mobile, web, and in-station screens.Create and enact evaluative research plans to test the usability and usefulness of current client products.Present research findings that will inform product strategy and design to teammates and stakeholders.Create surveys, test concepts, and conduct in-person and remote 1:1 user interviews.Help the organization understand which research methods are appropriate to support Client and user needs. Qualifications4-7 years experience conducting research on digital products, ideally for companies, startups and/or agencies. This is a fast-paced environment.Experience using a range of UX research methods such as surveys, concept testing, usability testing, and in-depth interviews.Able to run the user research process from start to finish, from recruiting users to synthesizing and presenting insights.You recognize and champion diverse perspectives within a large user base.
