Temporary Field Site Manager Department: Mobility Market ResearchLocation: New York, NYThe Field Site Manager (FSM) acts as the on-the-ground liaison between RSG, surveyors, and subcontractors during data collection periods. This fast-paced role requires daily communication with all parties to ensure smooth fielding, meet survey completion targets, and address any performance issues as they arise. Resourceful and quick on their feet with a "can-do- attitude for solving logistical problems
Comfortable with uncertainty and sees unknown situations as challenges
Willing to survey in various locations, especially subway (PATH) and train stations
Flexible with non-standard working hours (early AM, late PM, and occasional weekends during fielding periods)
Position Overview:
Type of Position: Temporary
Shifts: Select eight- to ten-hour shifts, with variable hours including early morning (starting at 5am) and late-night shifts (ending at 2am)
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and support field staff to maximize survey participation and meet sampling targets
Manage a team of six to ten staff, traveling between PATH stations to monitor and coach them
Distribute and maintain field equipment (e.g., tablets), ensuring they are fully charged and in working order throughout the shift

Dependable, conscientious, and resourceful individuals
Previous experience supervising temporary staff in areas such as survey research, political canvassing, event management, or the service industry is preferred but not required
Interest in transit market research and transportation
Ability to reach PATH stations during early morning or late-night hours (transit options may be limited)
Team players who are good with people, energetic, responsible, and resourceful
