Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.The Sr. Lifecycle Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for Architect, Design and Lifecycle management of Cytiva Security and facilities applications.This position is part of the Manufacturing and Site Ops & Sourcing located in U.S. and will be fully remote. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical teams, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices in system design and lifecycle management.

Lead the design of scalable and efficient systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and organizational best practices. Establish standard operating procedures and documentation for lifecycle management.

Conduct comprehensive gap analyses to identify deficiencies in current systems and processes. Develop actionable recommendations to enhance performance, reliability, and compliance across the facilities portfolio.

Utilize data analytics tools to monitor system performance, identify trends, and generate reports that inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data-driven insights are integrated into lifecycle planning.

Oversee the integration of new technologies and systems into existing infrastructures. Manage configuration changes, ensuring seamless interoperability and minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Assist Sr Manager with technical project management to ensure timely delivery of projects across multiple facilities.

Who you are:

Expert level knowledge and practical experience with Genetec Unified Security solutions, including design, configuration, integration, and management of security systems within a facilities environment.

Strong experience with Power BI and similar analytics platforms for data visualization and reporting. Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets to inform decision-making and optimize operational performance.

Solid understanding of Active Directory management and experience with Azure Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations, ensuring secure and efficient user access across platforms and applications.

Familiarity with industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, with the ability to implement and maintain security protocols within IT and facilities management environments.

ITIL certified with Dev/Ops experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (typically 5-7 years). Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and application architecture to ensure robust system design and integration.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Technical Project Management Experience:

Proven experience managing technical projects from inception to completion, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of security and facilities solutions.

Cross-Platform Integration Experience:

Experience with integrating on-premises and cloud-hosted systems, including knowledge of APIs, middleware, and data synchronization techniques. Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and the challenges of maintaining security and compliance across different platforms would be a significant asset.
