Description We are looking for a diligent Sr. Accountant to join our team in the financial services industry, located in New York, New York. The role involves managing cash, reconciling the general ledger, coordinating with affiliated departments, preparing financial reports and workpapers for residential and commercial properties, and performing budgeting and forecasting tasks. Responsibilities: Manage cash and perform bank reconciliations Reconcile general ledger and make necessary adjustments Communicate and coordinate with affiliated departments, property management, and asset management to meet reporting requirements Prepare workpapers and financial reporting packages for residential and commercial properties Provide required financial information and analytics on a monthly and quarterly basis Conduct budgeting and forecasting tasks Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Monthly Bank Reconciliation, Budgeting - Forecasting Knowledge of Yardi Voyager is a plus. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
