These products give advertisers the controls and data necessary to improve the relevancy and performance of their ads.The Targeting team is responsible for empowering advertisers to define, refine, and better engage their customers. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in surfacing and enabling action on the most relevant insights on demand, within the advertising tools and workflows our customers use. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional partners to build flexible, scalable, and privacy-preserving targeting capabilities that drive business results for our advertising clients. This includes implementing advanced large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract valuable insights from unstructured data sources to drive an AI powered agent that provides advertisers with a tailorted experience to optimize on their campaigns. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of audience discovery, taxonomy, metadata, and permission tools that help advertisers identify new, high-value customer segments. Develop flexible, scalable, and privacy-preserving audience targeting capabilities that empower advertisers to define, refine, and better engage their customers
Implement advanced large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract valuable insights from unstructured data sources
Experience in communicating with users and other technical teams to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
Proven ability delivering within a DevOps delivery model from scoping requirements, requirement analysis, design, development, test, CI/CD, security implementation, and operational excellence

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
