Post-traumatic disorder or PTSD, which may develop following a stressful experience, involves symptoms including intrusive memories of the event, avoiding situations that remind you of the event, negative changes in beliefs and feelings, and feeling like you're on high alert. Our study aims to test whether Neurofeedback is an effective treatment for PTSD. We are seeking research participants
interested in reducing PTSD symptoms.
You may be eligible for our study if you are:
Between the ages of 18-65
Able to commute to New York City twice a week for a total of 8 weeks
o (Monday- Friday 9 am-5 pm)
Comfortable undergoing neurofeedback training, which is a method aimed at helping you learn how to better control your brain activity
