This is a full-time W2 position with a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will be part of a large, well-known NYC healthcare network, providing essential services to our patients.Must Haves:

1 or more years of phlebotomy experience

Experience using straight needles

Data entry skills to enter patient information into the system

Strong customer service skills

Fluency in Mandarin

Job Duties:

Greet and register patients upon arrival

Perform blood draws using straight needles and/or butterfly needles

Process and label specimens accurately

Centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data, and perform decontamination

Update patient information in the system

Collect and store specimens according to established procedures

Demonstrate proper techniques for blood draws

Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test orders

Work Environment: Phlebotomists will work in a patient services center, handling around 40-60 patients per day. They will document and update records through our internal system. Through training, phlebotomists will also take on additional tasks such as accessioning.Population: Adults/GeriatricSkills:

This individual can be a Phlebotomy Technician or a Medical Assistant

No certifications required

Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
