Description We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a law firm paralegal, with a focus on commercial litigation.Primary Responsibilities:
Provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Aid during all phases of the litigation process, including conducting interviews, legal research, document filing, and court appearances.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, etc.
Utilize existing files and a variety of other research resources to develop information for pending cases.
Extensive data management including organizing and managing electronic and hard copy case documents.
Support the team in case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences, preparing pleadings, monitoring and obtaining discovery responses etc.
Reviewing and summarizing depositions and other transcripts.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial litigation.
Proficient in using legal database software and other related software for research and case management.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Paralegal certification or degree is preferred.
Familiarity with the rules, procedures, and terminology pertinent to civil litigation. Requirements Applicant must possess at least 2 years of experience in the role of a Paralegal.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Commercial Litigation is required. Experience as a Litigation Paralegal is a mandatory requirement. Demonstrable ability to manage and meet deadlines. Must be able to perform legal research and draft legal documents. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to function effectively under pressure. Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Legal Studies or related field required. Must be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
