We are seeking residents of New York (Manhattan), Bronx, Westchester, Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam, and Sullivan to serve as Jurors for a mock trial to be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Adult residents of New York (Manhattan), Bronx, Westchester, Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam, and Sullivan, New York, ages 18-70.
Date of Mock Trial: Tuesday, March 4, 2025
Hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break)
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST BE a U.S. Citizen
MUST BE a New York (Manhattan), Bronx, Westchester, Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam, and Sullivan for a minimum of 1 year
MUST BE 18 years of age or older
MUST HAVE a valid New York driver’s license or New York State I.D. showing a New York (Manhattan), Bronx, Westchester, Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam, and Sullivan County address.
MUST SPEAK, READ & WRITE ENGLISH FLUENTLY
MUST BE ABLE to sit for extended periods, watch and listen to presentations on a screen, take notes on paper, and complete forms on an iPad.
MUST HAVE a minimum High School Diploma; persons with college degrees are encouraged to participate
