Work closely with attorneys and paralegals in the Americas Region legal team
Assist with general file management including document assembly, preparing meeting minutes and other correspondence
Review and redlining professional services agreements and advising the business on same
Analyze risk related on projects based on contract terms
Assist with corporate matters and registration and licensing
Legal research including areas of contract and construction law
Assist with preparation of internal memoranda, strategies, and plans
Develop an understanding of Arup’s business, technology, business models, and industry

Pursuing a Juris Doctor, LLM or equivalent (must have completed 1to2 years of studies)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must have strong collaboration and interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude, with an ability to work within a team environment and with staff of all levels
Experience with the following computer applications: Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat.
Candidate must not require sponsorship, now or in the future to be considered for this role
Preferred:
Coursework, job experience, or interest in contracts, construction law, intellectual property, data privacy, and/or technology law

This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level . Benefits are not included in the base salary.
