Columbia Research Unit (CRU) is part of an international network called the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN). We are doing a study called HVTN 807 to test an experimental HIV vaccine, as well as compare the body’s immune system response when the participant stops taking their HIV medicine (group 1) versus those who continue taking their HIV medication (group 2).
We are looking for people with HIV who are:
undetectable, and
18–60 years old.
Study participation involves:
being part of one of two study groups,
6–7 visits over 15 months, and
receiving two injections of the test vaccine.
Participants receive at least $800 for completing all scheduled study visits.
