Java Developer

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Software Developer in our New York location. This role is in a fast-paced, hybrid environment within a Trading Platform/Foreign Exchange Platform FinTech company. The main focus is on Core Java and Multithreading, with very little framework in place, which requires hard-core hands-on coding. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain core Java applications and components Implement multi-threading and low latency programming techniques Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, focusing on solution design, coding, and debugging Work on the development of real-time systems, if any experience is available Collaborate with other team members to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications Develop high-quality software design and architecture Perform validation and verification testing Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products Document development phases and monitor systems. Requirements Candidate must possess a minimum of five years of experience as a Software Developer Proficiency in Multithreaded Programming is essential for this role Strong knowledge and experience in Core Java is required Experience in Low Latency programming is necessary The ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain a high level of professionalism Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred The ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
