Job Description
Title: IT Support Specialist Location: NYC or Norwalk CT. Type: Contract to Hire Rate: DOE (depending on experience) Seeking an IT Support Specialist to join a fast-paced IT team. This position's role is to provide technical support to end user community, onboard new team members, and perform general systems administration. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming user issues in primarily Windows environment
- Utilize the Help Desk ticketing system to log problem resolutions
- On call duties once per month
- Set up and deploy new computers using standard imaging process and configuration procedures
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
- Assist with Mitel telecommunications systems administration
- Onboard new Team Members by creating accounts in Active Directory and other applications
- Mobile device setup and troubleshooting
- Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
- Light server, network and firewall configuration and troubleshooting
- Ability to create procedures and user focused instructions
- Any other additional duties as needed
- At least 3 years of IT experience working in Windows environment
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
- Solid technical knowledge with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent troubleshooting, customer service and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- CompTIA and/or Microsoft certifications a plus
