Grace at a Glance Enrollment: 783 students Students of Color: 39.4% Percentage of Students Receiving Financial Aid: 25% Student-Faculty Ratio: 7:1 About the Position The IT Operations & Help Desk Supervisor will oversee all help desk operations and support infrastructure operations. Grace Church School has two campuses, one at 86 Fourth Avenue and the other at 46 Cooper Square, and this position will be the primary point of contact for infrastructure operations at 46 Cooper Square, Reporting directly to the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure, the IT Operations & Help Desk Supervisor will also be the backup point of contact at 86 Fourth Ave. The IT Operations and Help Desk Supervisor will directly manage a three person, help desk staff (one of whom shares instruction, training and other Technology Department duties). The IT Operations and Helpdesk Supervisor will be responsible for:

Supervision of help desk process and help desk personnel, meeting regularly and filling in with support when needed

Ongoing monitoring of IT Infrastructure and helpdesk performance and effectiveness

The installation, maintenance and performance of firewalls, router, DNS, UPS and switches on both campuses

AV coordination at 46 Cooper Square and all-school chapels

Direct live streaming when needed

Helpdesk and maintenance of Business Office / Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT

Management and vendor coordination of classroom displays (IWB)

Google Administration for Chromebooks and Jamf Administration for Apple products

VoIP Management and vendor coordination of the telephone system at both campuses

Coordination of summer hardware installations and upgrades

License and warranty management

Research and investigation into optimal operations systems and infrastructures

Identifying training and professional development for gaining a mastery of all levels of optimal technology operations

Implementing and maintaining all file-server setup and access

Implementing and maintaining backups for all servers

Networking of shared printers at 46 Cooper Square

Mobile Device Management supervision

Technology purchases on both campuses, Apple purchaser for both campuses

Installation and removal of hardware as needed

Maintenance of office and workshop areas at 46 Cooper Square

Coordination of delivery, setup and removal of infrastructure hardware

Creating and maintaining an accurate visual display of all networks

Coordination with Chief Communications Officer and Facilities Manager on network related issues

Operations and Helpdesk Supervisor will consult and coordinate with Senior Director of Technology Infrastructure For Operations on all significant system issues

Tasks identified by as needed by Senior Director of Technology Infrastructure For Operations and Chief Technology Officer

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree

Must be highly experienced in Macintosh operating system navigation, maintenance and troubleshooting as well as proficient with Windows OS and Server

Proficient experience working with JAMF and Google administration

Zendesk and chromebook familiarity.

Experience working in a school environment considered a plus

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
