IT Cybersecurity Project Manager

Our Major Utility Client in Downtown, NYC is looking for a local IT Cybersecurity Project Manager for a 12+month role. Will need to be 2-3 days onsite soon. Skills & RequirementsDemonstrated project management skills.Strong communication and vendor management skills.Ability to track tasks and deliverables and updates to management.General knowledge of, and familiarity with cyber security regulations including NIST, NERC CIP and TSA Security DirectivesAbility to follow-up with vendors and other third parties for technical support and escalate issues, as needed.5-10 years of relevant work experience, at least three of which in a strategy or project management role, with gradually increasing responsibilities and a track record of high performance.Must have experience with Cybersecurity and/or Network Security Engineering.The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate.PMP certification preferredCISSP, or CISM, or Security+Experience with Governance, Risk and ComplianceAbility to proactively identify challenges and develop creative solution, in close collaboration with key stakeholders.Excellent judgment, tact, initiative, critical thinking, problem solving, organizational skills, and self-motivation.
