Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in New York. You will be part of a team that operates within the technology industry, providing support for a variety of tasks such as testing AV in rooms, configuring devices, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of equipment like laptops and iPads.Responsibilities: Testing and troubleshooting Audio Visual (AV) equipment in various rooms Configuring laptops, iPads, and similar devices for optimal use Ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of all devices before deployment Handling a variety of responsibilities as assigned, adapting to changing needs and demands Utilizing skills in Chromebook, Mac OS, and iPad operation and maintenance Assisting with the preparation of the workspace by wiping and cleaning laptops and iPads Proactively identifying potential issues with device functionality and addressing them promptly Providing technical support and resolving any issues that arise during the use of devices Working collaboratively with team members and other interns to ensure efficient operations Maintaining an organized and efficient work environment, keeping track of all devices. Requirements Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting Chromebook devices Extensive knowledge and experience with Mac OS Ability to provide technical support for iPad devices Demonstrable experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar IT support position Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with an aptitude for explaining technical concepts in a user-friendly manner Ability to multitask and prioritize issues based on urgency and importance Knowledge of common software and hardware problems and their solutions Patience and empathy when dealing with non-technical users Willingness to stay updated with the latest technology trends and updates Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other IT professionals.
