About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced individual to lead our Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) business. Responsibilities for this individual will span both sales and trading. The individual will be responsible for both the sales origination and relationship management, agency execution, funding and collateral management, and business development teams. The Head of FCM will be accountable for the overall success and strategic direction of the business. Ensuring regulatory compliance is paramount. This role requires years of experience and knowledge in the futures, options, and cleared swaps industry. Strong leadership skills including years of experience leading teams are required.In this role, you will:
Manage and develop Securities and Trading teams of managers and professional individual contributors with focus on delivering services of moderate to high complexity and risk for cross-functional stakeholders and internal partners associated with Securities and Trading functional area
Provide a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients
Develop and implement an Securities and Trading Sales operating model to create an industry leading approach towards consumer remediation
Serve as expert on policies, regulatory, and compliance requirements, ensuring that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate bank policy information and strategy between the product head and relevant trading personnel
Lead a team of managers or experienced professionals and develop sales strategies for trading professionals in order to achieve business objectives
Exercise an informed perspective on market data, economic information, and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards at all times to assist in maximizing profitability through sound and well informed decisions
Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced management, on strategy, operations management, and on building organizational effectiveness as well as performance
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for General Management
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Trading and Securities Sales Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of Management experience
Must hold active Series 3, Series 30, and Series 24 securities licenses and be in good standing with FINRA and NFA
Desired Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Equities or FCM industry
5+ years of experience in a leadership role
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Deep knowledge of CFTC and NFA rules and regulations
Experience with FCM risk management platforms
Experience with FCM electronic trading platforms

Develop and implement a strategic vision for the FCM business while aligning with the broader goals of Equities and CIB Markets
Develop and maintain a high-performing team across all areas of focus (i.e., sales, trading, collateral management)
Develop FCM product capabilities to serve an expanding client base
Ensure absolute adherence to CFTC and NFA rules and regulations including a robust compliance framework
Identify and implement strategies to optimize financial resources and generate shareholder value

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
