Daily Morning and Midday Dog-walker $25-hour

New York, New york city 00000 New york city USA

Canine Cardio Inc. seeks Dog-walkers for regular morning shifts and midday shifts, Monday through Friday. We are currently looking to fill routes that occur between 7am-9:30am Monday through Friday and about 12-2 also Monday through Friday. Please do not apply unless you have availability for one or both of these shifts. We staff walkers on regular daily routes, between the hours of 7am-7pm, and may have additional routes open up after Labor Day, later in the day. Additional weekend work may be available, too, between 7am-7pm. We pay $25/hour on weekdays and $30/hour on weekends.

Canine Cardio Inc. (www.caninecardionyc.com) is a dog-walking company with a strong presence on the Upper East Side and in Sutton Place. We cater to a high-end clientele and are searching for responsible, punctual walkers with a strong presentation and customer service skills; former work experience and three professional references are a requirement for this job. We are currently looking to fill a 7am-9:30am morning route (mon-fri) and a 12-2 (mon-fri) route. Most of our routes occur around meal times (i.e. 7am-9am, 11am-2pm, 3pm-7pm). Because we are a high-end service business and our clients value consistency, we like to pair walkers with a regular group of dogs at a set time every weekday. Our hours of operation are 7AM-7PM, seven days a week, including weekends. We pay $25 per hour on weekdays and $30 per hour on weekends, and we pay on the books. We do not hire weekend-only walkers; weekend work is given ONLY to walkers who work during the week Monday through Friday.

A little about us Canine Cardio Inc., was established in 2005 on the Upper East Side. We walk no more than 3 dogs at a time, and we arrange for all of our walkers to get their certification in Pet First Aid. We are searching for an employee, not an independent contractor, and we would like to find someone who will be a valuable addition to our team long-term. We hold quarterly team meetings, annual company dinners, and we put a lot of effort into establishing a strong team.

If you are interested in this position, please send us both a cover letter and work resume. In the subject line of your email please include your daily window of availability. This must be a consistent window each day (i.e. 7am-9am & 12pm-2pm). Although dog-related experience is a plus it is not a necessity; you will receive thorough training in dog behavior, and this is largely a customer service role. Thanks very much, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Kind regards,

Jennifer

President
