As a café server, you will have the opportunity to ensure excellent café service for guests in a retail setting. This is a daytime shift; 7:00am - 3:30pm (Mon-Fri) Must have culinary experience as you will be preparing dishes, including sandwiches and salads.Compensation is $21 an hour.What you'll be doing:
Fulfilling food and drink orders for guests.
Ensuring accuracy and quality of each item.
Preparing breakfast and lunch items, including eggs, smoothies, sandwiches and salads.
Cleaning service area throughout the day and at the end of service periods. Breakfast service ends at 10:30am and lunch service ends at 2:30pm
Any other required duties, including dish washing.
What we're looking for:Must-haves:
Knowledge of food and drink preparation, including hot foods.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
An ability to learn and grow.
Nice-to-haves:
At least one years’ prior experience in food service.
Where you'll be working:Venable LLP. - 151 West 42nd Street; 49th FloorMonday - Friday; weekends off.7:00am - 3:30pm with opportunities for overtime when we have catering/reception events.Our Benefits:
