Join this Business Management organization that acts as trusted partners and advisors to the business with a goal to develop business strategies, drive execution and implementation of business initiatives and priorities. The Business Management function is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all required finance and business support. The role involves providing comprehensive support to the Head of M&A Globally as well as Region Heads.As a Business Management - Mergers and Acquisitions - Senior Associate within our team, you will promote critical analytics to provide insights for management decision making, lead and support strategic business projects, and provide timely and accurate financial forecasting. You will also support the executive leadership team with internal presentations, business reviews, and ad-hoc business projects. This role offers the opportunity to partner with numerous other US and global support areas, and to take ownership over projects, moving them forward proactively.Job Responsibilities:

Support strategic analysis and planning in order to drive strategic growth, revenue, wallet, market share

Use automation, analytics, and data insights to drive efficiency and identify strategic growth areas while providing market insights

Support financial budgeting, forecast and pipeline management - Support all aspects of financial management including: annual budgets, quarterly/monthly forecasts, revenue reconciliation, pipeline oversight and projections, expense management (e.g. approval, escalations, budgeting for departmental invoices, explain results and variances.

Analyze market stats, trends, competition and areas of opportunity

Manage the people agenda including: headcount planning, optimize org structure, evaluation processes, productivity reporting, group meetings and communications

Take ownership of broader business deliverables (e.g., regulatory workstreams, technology workstreams, strategic analyses)

Perform Ad hoc reporting/analysis and projects

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of relevant experience in business management, COO, CAO, banking or similar functions

Strong Excel (able to distill large datasets into compact messages) and PowerPoint (skilled with visually presenting those messages) skills

Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and project management skills, with the ability to synthesize and articulate results to a diverse audience, as well as to think/act strategically.

Team oriented and flexible, with an ability to take ownership over projects and proactively move them forward

Comfortable working independently and in influencing role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Organizational skills (ability to coordinate across multiple functional teams and a broad array of tasks)

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

Experience with Dealogic is a plus

Familiarity with Investment Banking products as well as JPM internal systems (e.g. Aqueduct, DASH, Party Central) a plus

Strong interest and knowledge in markets, specifically M&A
