Tekscape services include managed IT, managed security services, cloud computing, compliance, and collaboration. Job Description:A dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our high-performing sales team. As a Hunter Type Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on acquiring new client accounts. This position plays a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth, especially with monthly recurring business. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong passion for sales and a track record of success in identifying and closing new business.Key Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

Identify and research potential new business opportunities and leads.

Use various tools, platforms, and techniques to create a robust pipeline of potential customers.

Leverage networking, industry events, and cold outreach to generate new leads.

Client Acquisition:

Develop and execute effective strategies to win new accounts and clients.

Actively engage with potential clients, present the company's products or services, and tailor solutions to their specific needs, particular focus is on recurring IT services (MSA).

Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to secure new accounts.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

Create and implement a well-defined sales plan with clear objectives, targets, and timelines.

Collaborate with the sales team and management to align strategies and resources effectively.

Relationship Building:

Build strong and lasting relationships with potential clients, understanding their business and needs.

Maintain regular contact with leads and prospects, nurturing relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Build and maintain strong relationships with industry vendors (hardware and distributors)

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, leads, and opportunities using ConnectWise.

Provide regular feedback on sales performance, forecasts, and trends to management.

Revenue Growth:

Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas to contribute to the company's revenue growth, particularly in building recurring client business (Managed Services Agreements)

Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling to existing clients.

Continuous Learning:

Stay current on industry best practices, sales techniques, and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

Proven track record (5 years+) of successful sales experience, particularly in new account acquisition for IT Managed Services providers in the SMB space.

Strong understanding of sales methodologies, prospecting techniques, and negotiation strategies.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent in pursuing leads and closing deals.

Familiarity with ConnectWise software a plus.

Familiarity with generative AI (ChatGPT, etc) and automation tools a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing market conditions.
