Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the music publishing industry, based in New York. This role primarily involves handling financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data entries.Responsibilities: Inputting financial data into ERP accounting software to ensure accurate record keeping Managing accounts payable and receivable to maintain financial transparency Cutting checks and making payments to vendors to facilitate smooth business operations Inputting revenue into the system to keep track of company earnings Utilizing knowledge of the chart of accounts in performing bookkeeping tasks Leveraging experience with Sage 300 or related products for efficient financial management Performing account reconciliation to ensure financial records are accurate Conducting bank reconciliations to verify the company's bank balance with its financial records Ensuring timely data entry for efficient record keeping and easy access to information Managing payroll to ensure employees are compensated accurately and on time. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated ability in Bank Reconciliations Proven experience in Bookkeeping Skilled in Data Entry Proficient in using Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close procedures Knowledge of Payroll processes Proficiency in QuickBooks software Familiarity with Sage 300 Proficiency in using Sage Intacct Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
