Description Robert Half is currently recruiting a Benefits Administrator for our client. The benefits administrator will direct and plan the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. The most frequent operations in this benefits administrator role will involve researching alternative benefits programs, implementing enhancements to current programs, and overseeing all general tasks associated with benefits administration. Design benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.
Keep appraised of employee benefits plans and vendors
Oversee transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
Evaluate and negotiate with all our service providers
Manage daily benefits processing
Architect administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes
Advise employees of their benefit options
Manage leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.)
Collaborate and maintain detail oriented communication with accounting department
Take steps to ensure that organization complies with applicable government regulations
Run enrollments and determine employee eligibility Requirements - Excellent communication and organization skills
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or similar relevant field
3+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience
Hands-on experience with data analysis
Knowledge of benefits contract language
Competent in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
