As an Automation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring automation equipment uptime, including metal fabrication & mechanical assembly projects to support equipment evolution. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in industrial, aerospace, automotive, metal fabrication or maintenance, who is eager to contribute their expertise and collaborate within a dynamic team.MUST HAVES
7+ years' experience in machinery maintenance/assembly/design.
Thorough knowledge of metalworking equipment, materials, and fabrication techniques.
Proficient in TIG and MIG welding with various alloys, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, and brass.
Ability to read and understand shop drawings, blueprints, and 3D models.
Capability to use inspection tools and perform simple mathematical calculations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful execution of assembly & reliable operation of mechanical assemblies.
Analyze assembly weaknesses, address them in the field, and provide suggested solutions to the engineering team.
Safely and efficiently handle machining, cutting, forming, assembly, and rigging of materials.
Prepare fabricated work for finishing through secondary processes, including grinding, sanding, chasing, and polishing.
You will be part of a team that will be on-call for remote and onsite support for maintenance and repair of restaurant automation systems.This period will include weekends and holidays, as well as late hours as needed.About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
