Start Date / End Date : 02/24/2020 / 12/31/2020Description Description:Global Markets and Securities Services Operations Control - AML, Sanctions & Payments Governance OfficerWorking alongside our existing Governance team and reporting directly into the M&SS Operations Control AML, Sanctions & Payments Governance Head, the goal of the AML, Sanctions & Payments Governance Team is to co-ordinate, provide guidance and advice in relation to the implementation of AML Transaction Monitoring, and conformance with the Global Sanctions Operating Model and Manual Payments Policy (MPP) across Global Markets and Securities Services Operations.Working in partnership with the Sanctions Compliance, AML and other Control and Sanctions organizations, ensure conformance across Global Markets and Securities Services Operations to both policies and standards in relation to the above.Develop and implement a control framework for Markets and Securities Services Operations to govern both AML & Sanctions requirements, including but not limited to: MCA, KRI, exception reporting/monitoring and escalation standards.Key Responsibilities
Point of contact for Markets and Securities Services Operations in relation to AML, Sanctions & Payments matters globally.
Provide guidance in evaluating risks & controls, and ensure appropriate remedial actions are in place, as needed, as they relate to AML monitoring, sanctions and MPP.
Proactive reviews of Markets and Securities Services Operations related control processes and reporting to ensure conformance to applicable policy and standards.
Oversight of corrective action plan remediation in relation to AML, Sanctions & Payments across Markets and Securities Services Operations.
Align and support the wider Markets and Securities Services Operations Control strategy.
Ensuring that significant risks are appropriately and timely escalated through Operations / Control / AML / Sanctions / MPP governance channels.
Provide analytics and reporting support to the Markets and Securities Services Operations Control AML, Sanctions & Payments Governance Head.

Knowledge of AML / Sanctions / MPP
Familiarity with the business offerings of Markets and Securities Services Operations
Track record of delivering to demanding standards of quality and accuracy
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
Proficient in metrics/KRIs assessment and reporting
Managing, organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
Ability to work under pressure managing to tight deadlines and / or unexpected changes
Willingness to question/challenge existing processes and ensure a satisfactory outcome
Excellent communication and relationship skills across all management levels
Analytical with attention to detail and strong problem solving skills

Strong MS Office Suite skills
Qualifications:
Educated to degree level and 5-10 years of relevant experience
