Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in New York, New York. This role is within the non-profit industry and involves managing and processing accounts payable, maintaining customer records, and providing administrative support. Responsibilities: Accurately process invoices and ensure they are properly entered into the system Leveraging your knowledge of MS Excel and Abila MIP to analyze and interpret data Handle accounts payable tasks as well as perform data entry Provide administrative assistance when required, supporting the smooth running of the office operations Monitor and manage expense reporting, ensuring all expenses are accurately recorded and reports are up-to-date Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of customer credit applications Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Regularly review customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Proficiency in using Abila MIP software Strong skills in MS Excel Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Ability to process invoices efficiently Excellent data entry skills Experience in expense reporting Prior experience in providing administrative assistance Ability to work in a non-profit environment Good understanding of financial regulations and procedures Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field may be preferred.
