We are seeking a talented and motivated Drafter to join our collaborative team and contribute to the success of our growing business.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Drafter at Shopworx Inc, you will be responsible for creating production-ready drawings and documentation. You will also be in direct communicating with clients and the production team. You will also need to perform on-site visits to confirm measurements before fabrication. Additional responsibilities include preparing estimates for new projects. Experience with CNC machining and technical drawing for CNC operation is highly desirable.
RESPONSABILITIES
Produce detailed and accurate shop drawings from architectural plans.
Collaborate with architects, designers, project managers, and millwork supervisors to ensure project requirements are met.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and client specifications.
Utilize drafting software, primarily AutoCAD, to create precise technical drawings.
Develop 3D models when necessary to support design and production.
Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high attention to detail.
Order and track samples, obtaining necessary approvals for each sample.
Create CNC machine-ready technical drawings (preferred but not required).
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3+ years of drafting experience, preferably in millwork.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with 3D modeling tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications accurately.
