About the Job:
Our growing boutique home design firm (primhaus.com) seeks a reliable and skilled Revit designer/draftsperson to join our team. This role involves making modifications and changes to existing architectural models and completing construction documents for single-family residential structures.
You will be supplied with a Revit model along with detailed diagrams and/or instructions illustrating the desired modifications. You will work closely with our lead designer on a one-on-one basis and will have access to support for any questions or clarifications you may need.
This position is part-time or on-demand initially, with the potential for increased income and workload as you demonstrate consistent high-quality work. Please note that you will be functioning as an independent contractor.
About You:
You are motivated, accurate, and proficient with the latest edition of Revit. You possess a strong sense of architectural design, composition, and symmetry, and take pride in the quality of your work. You are flexible, quick with turnaround, and capable of working with deadlines, ensuring that work is completed on time.
Your Qualifications:
Architectural degree.
3-5 years of work experience in a design firm or construction outfit.
Strong working knowledge of light frame timber construction (i.e., complete understanding of common wall/roof assemblies, interior details, foundation types, etc.).
Compensation:
Initially, you can expect to earn approximately $2,000 - $4,000 monthly (contingent on workload).
Time Commitment:
This role is remote, and you set your own hours and schedule. Timely job completion and high standards are of utmost priority. On average, you’ll likely spend between 10-20 hours per month, but this ultimately depends on your proficiency with Revit. Jobs will be given at a fixed cost, so if you are fast and accurate, your hourly pay will be excellent.
