About Me:
I am a full-time school elementary school educator leader balancing multiple responsibilities. Therefore, I need an assistant who can adapt quickly to grading and inputting scores into various data platforms like Google Sheets. The ideal candidate will also assist in researching and assembling various creative student resources. The grading tasks are clear-cut, and necessary materials and guidance will be provided upfront.
Responsibilities:
● Grade student assessments quickly and accurately, with minimal need for interpretation.
● Follow a clear rubric (in a few cases) for grading consistency.
● Enter grades and test scores into a user-friendly software system.
● Double-check all entries to ensure accuracy.
● Maintain confidentiality of all student and teacher information.
Requirements:
● Must be organized and able to complete tasks on time.
● Capable of quickly learning new software (Google platforms, etc).
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
● Previous experience with grading or data entry is a plus but not required.
● Capable of creating simple grade-appropriate worksheets/homework packets highly preferred.
● Maintain confidentiality of all information shared.
Location:
● in-person
● Brooklyn, Manhattan, or Bronx depending on the candidate's preference.
Hours:
● Monday- Saturday
● Days and hours are on an AS NEEDED basis (5-10 hours a week). Hours are flexible but must meet task deadlines.
● Work must be done on-site or during designated hours, as agreed upon.
Pay:
● $20/hour (opportunity for higher pay.)
