Looking to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in elementary/highschools in Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. Part-time and full-time available. Flexible hours. Rate negotiable depending on experience. CF’s are welcome to apply.
Licensed in Speech-Language Pathology in NYC is required
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on speech and language techniques for continued improvement
Experience:
- Experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist with pediatric population
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech and language disorders
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and critical care practices
- Experience working in a hospital or ICU setting preferred
- Familiarity with case management and acute care procedures
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
