1. Job Duties
Pantomima - Theatre Based Care is currently seeking for lead teachers responsible for representing the artistic/theatrical tone and atmosphere for the facility, managing the curriculum, overseeing physical facilities, assist through the hiring process and managing the overall image of the center. Also, ensure compliance with all local and federal laws governing child care, both in regards to the physical environment and the staff.
Requirements for Teachers:
Associates and/or B.A. in Early Childhood Ed or enrolled in school towards his/her degree
Minimum of 2 Years Teaching Experience
Familiarity with Reggio Emilia & Montessori Educational Philosophies
Job Type: Part-time
Time: 8am-2pm
Salary: $20-23/per hour ($24 with teacher's certification)
Three months probation period subject to termination
Medical benefits after 6 months (Staring after probation period is completed)
Experience:
Teaching: 2 years teaching 3-5yrs old(Required)
Theatre or Music background is a plus but not mandatory
Education:
¥ Associates and/or B.A. in Early Childhood Ed or enrolled in school towards his/her degree
License:
¥ NYS Teaching License (is a plus, but not required)
