Large center based daycare in The Bronx is seeking Lead teachers and Assistant teachers to work with program.
Seeking team spirit individuals , that is knowledgeable about child development and is interested in the day to day care and well being of children. Positions are full time 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. Ages of children are 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Candidate should be smart, open, caring, responsible, dedicated and patient. There is always room for growth. This is an h hourly position starting at minimum wage and going up based on experience . Lead teachers earn more than the minimum wage . Please see below for qualifications:
Lead Teachers
NYS Teaching certification in Early Childhood Education OR
Master's degree in early childhood education OR
Bachelor's degree in education while enrolled CURRENTLY in a master's program
Clean background
DOH finger prints or willing to be fingerprinted
15 Hours training (websites provided)
Assistant Teachers
HS diploma OR GEDClean background
