We are seeking a 3K Preschool Lead Teacher to join our organization, ABC Preschool & Kindergarten! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
Become familiar with the Creative Curriculum
Assess the children’s developmental areas with Teaching Strategies Gold
Plan and implement developmentally age-appropriate activities.
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN CHILDCARE, TEACHING, OR RELATED FIELDS ONLY
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a study plan towards NYS Teacher Certification or Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education towards NYS Teacher Certification.
NYS Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education Preferred.
