Infant Teacher Role Description (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN'T EFFICIENTLY DO THESE TASKS DAILY)
This is a full-time on-site role located in Staten Island, NY for an Infant Worker at Tiffanie's Smart House LLC. As an Infant Worker, you will be responsible for 4 children daily. You will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children with ages ranging from 6 weeks to 1yrs old. You will be responsible for monitoring developmental milestones, conducting circle time, teaching fine and gross motor skills along with speech, light meal prep and feeding times, cleaning and sanitizing, and communicating with parents and families as needed.
Qualifications
Must have at least a diploma for consideration
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a daycare or early childhood education setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and coworkers
Passion for working with children and promoting their growth and development
Knowledge and understanding of child development principles and practices
Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred but can be obtained if given the position)
5hr, 15hr and 30hr certification (can be obtained if given the position)
Ability to pass a background check as required by state and local regulations
Ability to work Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm
