Campus Education is looking for skilled, energetic, responsible teachers of English to adults.
IN PERSON CLASSROOM ONLY, NOT REMOTE.
$23-26/hour.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering interactive curriculum based on assigned textbooks and syllabus.
Supplementing textbooks with activities from text, video, games, and other resources.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Recording accurate student attendance.
Preparing effective lesson plans.
Grading tests.
Creating and conducting monthly class field trips.
Assisting with intake placement test and orientation.
Participating in curriculum development, including needs analyses, surveys, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably related to international education.
Classroom teaching experience to adults.
Excellent command of written and oral English, and effective interpersonal communication skills, including sensitivity to numerous countries and cultures.
Professional demeanor.
Preferred:
TESOL certificate or degree (if not, must begin upon hire).
BPSS license (if not, must obtain after hire, will be reimbursed)
Master's degree (to teach academic courses)
Previous experience teaching English as a New Language to adults.
